Connection question

Is a fannish equivalent of 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon: "Do you know jonsinger?"

Asking because I think it's the mutual connection for a couple people I just subscribed to.

Can I ask, how did you meet?

It was probably a MiniCon, back in the late 1980s, but it may have been a WindyCon in the same time frame. Jon is/was a favorite person with the university SF club. DH knows Jon better than I do.
